As important as project execution is the closing phase. Often forgotten, not planned for or just underestimated is the hand-off and acceptance of the completed products (documents, systems, knowledge, etc) by the customer organization. In every project plan we build in the closure or support phase to make sure deliverables are accepted by the persons responsible in the customer organization. The only open end can be a change process that continues long after project completion.

As part of the project closure we hold a retrospective with the customer. Together we discuss what went well and what could be improved for the future. Our aim is to have long-lasting relationships with our customers so we actively seek for ways to improve our services and project delivery.
